Or as we say in the West: "Prevention is better than cure"
No matter how you choose to express it you will no doubt agree with the sentiment. Modern life can be very stressful and hectic. Meeting work deadlines, ferrying kids to clubs, keeping house and home together, all with a smile on our faces, can take its toll on our physical and mental well-being. All too often we allow ourselves to become run down and then illness sets in. And then we are of no use to anyone.
Sometimes we have to learn the hard way that we simply need to take time out to let our bodies rest, repair and recover.
I asked my 9 year old son what to put on my home page, expecting him to say "smiley faces" but he actually said:
"Sometimes peace can provide inspiration to us all" - I was a bit surprised and made a mental note to check out his reading matter, but from the mouths of babes and all that...
